1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address - Used for account authentication and important service notifications
• Password - Stored securely using industry-standard hashing (never stored in plain text)
• Account preferences - Your subscription plan and feature settings

1.2 Spreadsheet Data & Formulas

When you use SheetSolver AI, we process:

• Uploaded files - Excel (.xlsx, .xls) and CSV files you upload for formula generation or sheet analysis
• PDF files - Documents you upload for data extraction
• Your queries - Natural language descriptions of what you want (e.g., "sum all values in column A")
• Generated formulas - The Excel and Google Sheets formulas we generate for you
• Sheet data - Headers, rows, and structure from your uploaded spreadsheets

Important: We process your spreadsheet data only to generate formulas and extract information. We do not use your data to train AI models or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

1.3 Usage & Technical Data

We automatically collect technical information to improve our service:

• Usage statistics - Number of formulas generated, features used, and service interactions
• Device information - Browser type, operating system, and IP address (for security and troubleshooting)
• Performance metrics - Response times and error logs (to improve service reliability)
• Session data - For anonymous users, we use secure session tokens to track usage limits

1.4 Payment Information

Payment processing is handled securely by Paddle. We never see or store your full credit card details. Paddle processes all payments and only shares transaction status with us. See Paddle's Privacy Policy for details.

3.1 Google Gemini AI

SheetSolver AI uses Google Gemini AI to generate formulas and process your queries. When you submit a request:

• Your query and spreadsheet data are sent to Google's Gemini API
• Google processes this data according to their AI Terms of Service
• Google does not use your data to train their models (as of their current policy)
• We cache responses to reduce API costs and improve response times

3.2 Data Storage (Supabase)

Your data is stored securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS). Supabase provides:

• Enterprise-grade encryption at rest and in transit
• Row-level security (RLS) ensuring you can only access your own data
• Regular security audits and compliance certifications

3.3 Payment Processing (Paddle)

All payments are processed by Paddle, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We never handle your credit card information directly.

4.1 Your Data

• Generated formulas and sheets - Stored until you delete them or close your account
• Uploaded files - Processed immediately and not stored permanently unless you explicitly save them
• Account information - Retained while your account is active
• Usage history - Kept for billing and service improvement purposes

4.2 AI Response Cache

To improve performance and reduce costs, we cache AI responses for 30 days. Cached responses are automatically deleted after expiration. Cache entries are anonymized and don't contain personally identifiable information.

4.3 Account Deletion

When you delete your account, we permanently delete:

• All your generated formulas and sheets
• Your uploaded files
• Your account information
• Your usage history

Some data may remain in backups for up to 30 days before permanent deletion. Cached AI responses are not tied to your account and will expire automatically.
