1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid subscription plans (Starter and Pro). This means:
- You can request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase
- No questions asked—we trust your judgment
- Refunds apply to your first subscription payment only
- You'll receive a full refund of the amount you paid
- Your account will be downgraded to the free tier after refund processing
Important: The 14-day guarantee applies to your first purchase only. Renewals and subsequent payments are not eligible for refunds under this guarantee, but you can cancel anytime to prevent future charges.
2. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:

- Include your account email or subscription ID
- Let us know why you'd like a refund (optional, but helpful for us to improve)
- We'll process your refund within 5-10 business days
We aim to respond to refund requests within 24-48 hours. Once approved, refunds are processed through Paddle (our payment processor) and will appear in your account within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or credit card provider.
3. Refund Eligibility
Eligible for Refund:
- First purchase within 14 days - Full refund available
- Technical issues - If you're unable to use the service due to technical problems on our end, we'll work to resolve them or provide a refund
- Billing errors - If you were charged incorrectly, we'll refund the difference
- Duplicate charges - If you were charged multiple times for the same subscription, we'll refund the duplicates
Not Eligible for Refund:
- After 14 days - Refunds are only available within the first 14 days of purchase
- Renewals - Automatic renewals after the initial purchase are not eligible for refunds (but you can cancel anytime)
- Free tier - The free plan is already free, so no refunds apply
- Usage-based issues - If you've used up your monthly limits, that doesn't qualify for a refund
- Change of mind after 14 days - While we understand preferences change, refunds are only available within the guarantee period
4. Cancellation vs. Refund
It's important to understand the difference between cancellation and refund:

Refund:

5. Refund Processing Time
Once we approve your refund request:

- Payment method: Refunds are processed back to the original payment method
- Credit card: Usually appears within 5-7 business days
- Bank transfer: May take up to 10 business days
- Notification: We'll email you once the refund has been processed
The exact timing depends on your bank or credit card provider. If you don't see the refund after 10 business days, please contact us and we'll investigate.
6. Failed Payments & Account Downgrades
If your payment fails:
- We'll automatically retry failed payments 3 times over 2 weeks
- We'll email you if payment fails so you can update your payment method
- After 3 failed attempts, your account will be automatically downgraded to the free tier
- You can update your payment information anytime to restore your subscription
- No data is lost - your account, history, and generated formulas remain intact
Note: Failed payments don't result in refunds since no charge occurred. If you want to cancel before a payment is attempted, you can do so anytime from your account dashboard.
7. Special Circumstances
Technical Issues:
If you're experiencing technical issues that prevent you from using SheetSolver AI, please contact us immediately. We'll work to resolve the issue quickly. If we can't resolve it within a reasonable time, we'll provide a full refund regardless of the 14-day window.
Billing Errors:
If you notice a billing error (wrong amount charged, duplicate charges, etc.), contact us immediately. We'll investigate and refund any incorrect charges promptly.
Service Discontinuation:
If we discontinue SheetSolver AI, we'll provide advance notice and refund recent payments (typically payments made within the last 30 days).
